Dear Parents,
We have had some questions and complaints about the carpool
lane. First of all, if your child(ren)
are not ready to get out of the car, please pull all the way into the pull out
lane and let them out there!!! If there is
a line, and no cars in the pull out you may go around them and pull into the
pull out if you are following all traffic rules, as well as these expectations,
you will not be pulled over or issued a ticket.
Do not park and walk child(ren) to the door because you are blocking our
flow of traffic. Also, do not let your
child(ren) out on the left hand side of your car!!! This may cause them to get run over by cars
coming down the road. If you are picking
your child(ren) up at or near the second parking lot, you may pull around cars
waiting in the carpool lane. Children
are not to cross any streets unless at a crosswalk. Remember, our main concern is your child’s
safety!
