UPCOMING ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF
FEBRUARY 28 - MARCH 4
* NOTICE: There are a lot of coats and sweaters in the lost & found. If these are not claimed by the end of the week, they are being sent to the DI so make sure to come take a look if you are missing an item.
* Awards Assembly: Wednesday, March 2nd at 9:30 AM in the gym.
* Early Out is Wednesday, March 2nd! School dismissed at 12:55 PM.
AM Kindergarten: 8:25 AM – 10:25 AM, PM Kindergarten: 10:55 AM – 12:55 PM
* Bookmobile will be Thursday, March 3rd.
* NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 4th due to Teacher Prep Day. Please note that due to this day off, Birthday Table for March Birthdays has been moved to Friday, March 11th!
* You can still purchase a YEARBOOK! They are $12 until they are sold out. You will need to give your order form and money to Mrs. Spackman in the office and checks are to be made out to McKinley Elementary.
* Remember The Box Tops Competition for February is the 1st Grade classes! Last day to bring them in will be Monday, Feb. 28th! The competition for March will be between the Kindergarten classes. You can bring in the following items: Box Tops, Cream of Weber lids, Campbell’s Soup labels, empty Elmer’s glue stick tubes/glue bottles and empty Neosporin tubes. Make sure Box Tops are cut out along the dotted lines and the soup labels are just the UPC with the point value. Bring in as much as you can and put them in the collection container in your classroom. THERE WILL BE A PRIZE FOR THE WINNING CLASS! Good Luck!
* Don’t forget to wear a McKinley shirt, jacket, etc. on Fridays to show school spirit!

Thursday, March 10th at 1:25 PM will be Maturation for 5th grade students and parents. Watch for more info.
Friday, March 18th will be McKinley’s MORNING WITH MOM before school. All students may bring their moms (if a mom is unable to attend, you can bring another special lady in your life) to eat breakfast at the school with them
